Despite determination of the 135 other players who registered with him for the first A day of the European Poker Tour Vilamoura (EPT), Ljubomir Josipovic was triumphant at the end of the first Day A of this stage of the EPT. The Austrian managed to amass a total of 192.900 chips after 8 hours play at the Casino Vilamoura which is hosting the seaside stage besides beautiful Portuguese beaches.



Chad Brown, Shaun Deeb Jason Mercier, Katja Thater,… were among the players present during this stage. At the end of Day 1 A, Lithuanian Dominykas Karmazinas finished proudly in 2nd position followed by Dutchman Ruben Visser with 172.400 chips. At this point the leading French player in the person of Michel Abecassis holds 9th place. The 76 survivors of Day 1 A have yet to contend with the Day 1 B qualifies. Players of standing such as Peter Eastgate, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Huck Seed are expected at this game which promises yet more griping poker games.
